Steve Oxley

I’m a retired creative director who had expected to be playing golf into my dotage but a dodgy back put paid to that! Needing something else to get me out and keep the grey matter active I bought a camera and took up landscape photography. I’m now into my third year of what is a brilliant hobby. 

I enjoy getting out locally, especially to Almscliffe Crag and Bolton Abbey. Swaledale is another favourite place. It’s great to be able to experience these places throughout the seasons. It’s also nice to get to different places further afield.

I’ve recently started to experiment with different “creative” camera and processing techniques which is fun and stimulating.
